Synthopia vs Creatify

Creatify makes avatar video ads by the dozen. Synthopia makes the campaign, with a UGC video as one piece of it.

Creatify turns a product URL into short video ads fronted by AI avatars: pick a face, pick a script, out comes a UGC-style ad at a fraction of creator rates. At $39 a month for roughly twenty videos, the volume economics beat hiring humans by an order of magnitude. Synthopia makes UGC videos too, with a generated, lip-synced creator, so this is not a page about real presenters against synthetic ones. What decides it is how many videos you need and what has to come with them. Creatify is built for batches of avatar ads. Synthopia builds one campaign from your real product photos, where the UGC video sits beside the posts, reels and Meta ads.

The economics are genuinely disruptive

Creatify's published pricing, checked August 2026: a free tier with 10 monthly credits, Starter at $39 a month with 100 credits, Pro at $99 with 300, watermark off and custom avatars in. By the free tier's own maths a video runs about 5 credits, so Starter buys roughly twenty videos a month, around two dollars each against the hundreds a human creator charges per video. For ad-variant testing at volume, no human pipeline competes on price. That is the honest case for Creatify and it is strong.

The trust question applies to every AI presenter, ours included

An AI presenter can hold attention and read a script. What it cannot do is have actually worn the jacket, tasted the dish, or lit the candle, and audiences increasingly check. A Harris Poll survey with the 4As, reported by Marketing Brew, found 73 percent of consumers less likely to trust an ad they suspect was made with AI. TikTok and Meta both run published labelling policies for realistic synthetic media. That applies to Creatify's avatars and to the creator in a Synthopia UGC video alike. Our answer is to keep the product real and the disclosure on: the creator is generated, the product comes from your own photos, and the video is labelled as AI by default.

Twenty videos, or one campaign

Creatify's Starter is $39 for about twenty avatar videos to spray into ad tests. Synthopia's Spark is $39 for 400 credits spent across one occasion's campaign: posts, reels, Meta ad creative and, if you want one, a UGC video, all built to be approved rather than swiped. Volume wins ad experiments. A campaign that holds together wins the feed your customers check before buying. Price will not decide this page for you; how many videos you need will.

Where the two overlap

If what you need is one UGC-style ad inside a month of marketing, Synthopia makes it as part of the campaign, from the same photos as the posts. If what you need is dozens of avatar variants to test against each other, that is Creatify's job and it does it far more cheaply per video. Either way the product in the frame should be the real one: see /features/real-not-imaginary.

Pick Creatify if

  • You need dozens of avatar video ads a month for paid-channel testing
  • Two dollars a video is the economics your ad budget needs
  • Custom avatars on Pro fit a persona-led ad strategy
  • Video ads are the only thing you need made

Pick Synthopia if

  • The product in every frame has to come from your real photos
  • You want the whole campaign, with a UGC video as one piece of it
  • You want AI creators labelled by default and nothing posted until you approve it
  • One strong UGC ad per campaign matters more to you than twenty variants

Questions

How much does Creatify cost per video?

By its own published tiers (checked August 2026), a video costs about 5 credits: the free tier's 10 monthly credits cover roughly two watermarked videos, Starter's 100 credits about twenty videos at $39, Pro's 300 about sixty at $99. Roughly two dollars a video on paid plans.

Do Creatify's AI avatars have to be disclosed?

Realistic AI-generated people fall under TikTok's published AI-labelling policy, and Meta applies AI labels to detected synthetic media. The practical risk sits with the advertiser running the content, not the tool that generated it. The same applies to the creator in a Synthopia UGC video, which is labelled as AI by default.

Is Creatify or Arcads better for AI UGC?

They are the two big names in the category and differ mainly on pricing transparency: Creatify publishes full tiers while Arcads had no public pricing page when we checked in August 2026. We compare them directly in our Creatify vs Arcads article on the blog.

Can Synthopia make UGC videos?

Yes. A UGC video puts a generated, lip-synced creator with your real product in a fifteen-second ad, labelled as AI by default. It comes as one piece of a campaign rather than a batch of variants, so for high-volume avatar testing Creatify is the better tool.
