Creatify vs Arcads for Product Brands (and a Third Option)

Creatify vs Arcads on their own published pages: pricing, actor libraries, disclosure rules, and when real product footage beats an AI face.

It's 11pm and you have two tabs open: Creatify and Arcads. Both promise a stream of UGC-style video ads without booking a single creator, and both look plausible enough that the real question becomes which one, and how much. Here's the comparison from their own published pages, plus the question neither pricing page will raise: whether an AI actor should be holding your product at all.

$39/month (100 credits), $99/month (300 credits), free tier 10 credits: Creatify's published Starter and Pro pricing and free tier, checked August 2026

1,000+ AI actors, 30+ languages: Arcads' homepage claims for its actor library and translation coverage, checked August 2026

73%: Consumers less likely to trust an ad they suspect was made with AI, Harris Poll with 4As and Infillion, reported by Marketing Brew

63%: Consumers less likely to purchase from a brand that uses AI-generated ads, same Harris Poll survey reported by Marketing Brew

How this comparison was made, and what each tool is

Everything here comes from each vendor's own published pricing, homepage and policy pages, linked throughout and checked August 2026. We haven't run either tool and won't pretend otherwise.

Creatify is an AI video ad generator: pick an AI actor, feed it a script or a product link, and it renders a talking-head style ad. Its pricing page lists 300 realistic AI actors on Starter and 1,500 plus 3 custom avatars on Pro, with 200+ and 500+ ad templates respectively.

Arcads pitches itself as "create winning ads with AI" on its homepage: a library of 1,000+ AI actors, the option to build your own AI avatar, emotion control written straight into the script, and tools to edit, translate, extend, subtitle and upscale the output. Both are built for paid ad creative first, organic feeds second.

Worth noticing before the numbers: both start from a script and a synthetic person, and neither starts from your product. That's the gap we built Synthopia for, and the reason we're in this comparison at all: it composes full campaigns from the brand's own photos, in the brand's voice, reel included. Whether that difference is worth anything to you depends on what you sell, which is the rest of this piece.

Pricing: one of these tools publishes its numbers

Creatify (checked August 2026, from creatify.ai/pricing): Free gets 10 monthly credits, enough for "up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads", watermarked. Starter is $39/month for 100 credits. Pro is $99/month for 300 credits, with the watermark gone and custom avatars in. By the free tier's own math, a video ad runs about 5 credits, which puts Starter around 20 videos a month, roughly $1.95 each. Credit costs vary by length and model, so treat that as a floor, not a promise.

Arcads publishes no pricing at all. Its /pricing URL returned a not-found page when we checked in August 2026, and the homepage's only visible offer was a limited-time trial promotion. Third-party blogs circulate figures, but none of them can be verified on the vendor's own page, so we won't print them. Budget only on what your own account shows you.

Actors, languages and formats compared

On the published evidence:

  • Actor libraries. Creatify's pricing page lists 300 actors on Starter and 1,500 on Pro; Arcads' homepage claims 1,000+ actors. Both offer custom avatars, Creatify capping Pro at 3.
  • Languages. Arcads publishes "accurate translation in more than 30 languages". Creatify's pricing page doesn't state a language count, so we can't compare that line.
  • Direction. Arcads leans on script-level emotion control: "full emotion control, just write how you want it". Creatify leans on template volume and premium image, video and audio models.
  • Workflow. Arcads promotes a team canvas for building and testing ad variations at scale, which signals who it's really for: performance teams shipping dozens of variants, not an owner posting three times a week.

The trust question neither pricing page raises

An AI actor praising a product it never touched is now a regulated category, not a hack. TikTok's own policy, per its newsroom, requires creators to label AI-generated content containing realistic images, audio or video. Meta, per its published approach, applies AI labels based on industry signals or self-disclosure, and requires advertisers to disclose photorealistic AI media in social issue and electoral ads outright.

Then there's the audience. A Harris Poll survey with the 4As and Infillion, reported by Marketing Brew, found 73% of consumers less likely to trust an ad they suspect was made with AI, and 63% less likely to buy from a brand using AI-generated ads. For a product people eat, wear or hold, that's not a rounding error. We've written before about why AI content reads as fake, and a synthetic spokesperson is the strongest version of the tell.

When AI actors are the right call, honestly

There are cases where these tools genuinely earn their fee. If you sell software, an app or a digital service, there's no physical product for the actor to misrepresent, and the format is really a person explaining a screen. If you're running paid acquisition and need 40 hook variations a week to feed the algorithm, human creators can't match that cadence at the price, and Arcads' team workflow canvas is clearly built for exactly that job. If you're localising one winning ad into a dozen languages, Arcads' published 30-plus-language translation is a real answer.

The honest line: AI actors are a volume tool for paid ads. They are not a feed, and for physical products they carry a disclosure label and a trust discount you should price in before either subscription.

The third option: UGC-style video from your real product

The choice was never only "AI actor A or AI actor B". For a physical product, the strongest raw material is the product itself: your dishes, your garments, your candles, shot on your phone in your own space. What most owners lack isn't footage, it's the composing: cutting it into a reel, writing the lines, sizing it per platform, every week.

That's the composing job Synthopia does. Strictly from your own product and ambience photos, it returns a 15-second master reel, stills, a carousel and every line of copy in your brand's voice, from a three-minute brief. No actor, no invented product, nothing in the frame you didn't shoot. Spark is $39/month, the same as Creatify's Starter, so the decision isn't really about budget: it's about who you want the viewer to see holding your product. If you want to try that on your own photos, signing up gives you 60 free credits, no card, and they never expire.

Where we fit, and who should pick something else

Plainly. If your job is paid acquisition and you need a fresh batch of hook variants every week with someone talking to camera, pick Creatify, or Arcads if the team canvas and the language coverage matter more to you than a published price. If you have the budget and a face you want the brand attached to, hire a real creator: a real person still beats every composed version of one. If you sell something physical, already have a camera roll of product and room shots, and never find the hours to cut them into a weekly feed, that's where Synthopia fits. And if you enjoy that part yourself, our rundown of what actually makes a good product reel is a fair place to start.

Questions owners ask

Which is cheaper per video, Creatify or Arcads?

Only Creatify lets you answer that from public evidence. Its pricing page, checked August 2026, shows Starter at $39/month for 100 credits, and its free tier's own math (10 credits for up to 2 video ads) implies roughly 5 credits per video, so around $1.95 each on Starter. Arcads publishes no pricing page at all, so a fair per-video comparison isn't possible without opening an account and checking the numbers yourself.

Do AI UGC ads have to be disclosed as AI?

On TikTok, yes for realistic content: its published policy requires labelling AI-generated content that shows realistic images, audio or video. On Meta, AI-generated media gets labelled based on detection or self-disclosure, and social issue, electoral and political ads with photorealistic AI media must be disclosed by the advertiser. The safe operating assumption for a brand is that a realistic AI actor will carry a label, so plan the creative knowing viewers may see one.

Can I make UGC-style videos without an AI actor?

Yes, and for a physical product it's usually the stronger play. Casual phone footage of the real product being made, worn or used carries the exact authenticity signal UGC is meant to deliver. Tools like Synthopia then do the composing: it builds a 15-second reel, stills and copy from your own photos in your brand voice, from a three-minute brief, starting at $39/month.
