Synthopia vs Predis.ai

Both make social posts with AI. The difference is whether the product in the picture is yours.

Predis.ai and Synthopia both use AI to make social content, and both will save you evenings. They disagree about one thing, and for any business whose customers buy what they see it is the thing that matters: where the picture comes from. Predis generates a visual from a text description. Synthopia reads your website or Instagram, pulls in your real product photos, and builds the campaign around them. This page lays out that difference, plus the places Predis is genuinely the better buy.

The whole argument is the picture

Type “cosy café latte art promo” into a prompt-based generator and you get a beautiful cup that has never existed. It is not your cup. The crema is wrong, the mug is wrong, the counter behind it belongs to nobody. The same happens to a dress, a candle or a jar of face cream. For a business whose customers never see the product, that is a harmless stock photo. For a café or a label it is a promise you cannot keep, because a customer who walks in or orders off that picture finds something else. Synthopia will not generate your product. It pulls your photos from your site or Instagram, you add or swap your own whenever you like, and every campaign is composed around those exact photographs.

One brief, or one post at a time

Predis works post by post. You describe a post, it makes that post, you describe the next one. Synthopia works by occasion. You say what is happening, a new pastry, a new drop, the long weekend coming up, and it returns the whole set at once: the posts, the reels, the ads and the captions, each already shaped for the channel it belongs on. If you post two or three times a month, working post by post is fine. If you are trying to hold a feed together across several channels, composing them separately is where the evenings go.

Predis Core is cheaper, and that is a real argument

Predis Core is $24 a month and Rise is $55, both discounted from a list price of $32 and $79. Synthopia starts at AED 149, which sits between the two: above Core, well under Rise. Against Core that difference is real, and for a small business counting every month's costs it may well decide the question. What you are paying for is that your product is never invented, and that the whole campaign arrives built together rather than assembled by you. If those are not worth the step up from Core to you right now, Core is the sane choice and we would rather you got value from it than churned from us.

What Predis does that we do not

Predis analyses competitors, and Synthopia does not. Both tools schedule: Predis auto-posts on its paid tiers, while Synthopia sends a post out from the app once you approve it and pick a day, or lets you download it and post by hand. If you want posting to happen without looking at each post first, Predis fits that better. On the shop side we have caught up: paste your website and if it is a Shopify storefront we read your catalogue on the spot (every product, its price, its photographs) with nothing to install and no permissions screen. WooCommerce we do not read yet.

Pick Predis.ai if

  • Budget is the binding constraint and $24 a month is the shape of the decision
  • You are happy for the visual to be generated or stock, because your product is not what people are looking at
  • You want posts to go out automatically without approving each one
  • You sell online through Shopify or WooCommerce and want product content generated from your catalogue
  • You want competitor tracking in the same tool

Pick Synthopia if

  • The product in the photo is what people buy, and it has to be your product
  • You want one brief to return a whole month across the channels you pick, already formatted
  • You are tired of being the art director as well as the owner
  • You want your logo, palette and voice applied the same way every time without setting it up again
  • You would rather judge the output before paying, which is what the free first campaign is for

Questions

Is Synthopia just a more expensive Predis?

No, and price is not really the axis: we sit between Predis's two plans, so this was never a cheap-versus-expensive question. Predis is a general-purpose post generator that invents or sources the visual. Synthopia builds a whole campaign (posts, reels, Meta ads, UGC videos) from one brief, around your real product photos, and refuses to invent the product. Different jobs.

Can Predis use my own photos?

You can bring your own media into Predis. The difference is the default and the discipline: Predis will happily generate a product shot when you do not supply one, and Synthopia has a hard rule that it never generates your product. The only generated person it makes is the creator in a UGC video, shown with your real product and labelled as AI by default.

Do I need to cancel Predis to try Synthopia?

No. Your first campaign is free, built from your own site at signup. Put the two outputs side by side before you decide anything.

Which is better for a single café or a small label?

Honestly, it depends on whether your pictures need to be real. A café or a label selling something people photograph and compare gets more from Synthopia. A business that mostly needs to fill a calendar cheaply gets more from Predis.
